In those years, he worked as a Hostage Negotiator, Crisis Intervention Officer, Patrol Sergeant, D.A.R.E Officer, School Resource Officer, middle school sports coach, and Field Training Officer. During his time as Pastor, he brought Emotionally Healthy Discipleship and Celebrate Recovery to his church.
Jon received his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Northwest Nazarene University (NNU). He had many additional hours of Police training when he worked as a Crisis Intervention Officer and as a Hostage Negotiator. He also studied at Northwest Baptist Seminary and Liberty University, later receiving a Masters and Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership Degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Tami received her Bachelors Degree from NNU in Elementary Education. She has served along side of Jon as a pastor’s wife. Additionally, Tami has been an elementary teacher, and Sponsorship Director for Children of the Nations, a non-profit Christian Organization that helps children.
Pastor Jon and Tami have a passion through prayer and counseling to see people set free from broken relationships, emotional pains, spiritual issues, and other strongholds affecting life and relationships. They have found through the training of Caring for the Heart Ministries, a Biblical model that brings people to Jesus to heal their hearts and set them free. Jon and Tami are down to earth people, who like most of us, have experienced their share of life’s relational pains leading to the miraculous experience of Christ’s healing touch.
